Villarreal are lining up a move for Napoli veteran Jose Callejon.
The 33-year-old winger is currently a free agent after his contract at Napoli expired.
Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Callejon and Villarreal are in advanced talks.
Callejon has already been linked with a move to Granada and Valencia this summer, but the Yellow Submarine are now leading the race for his signature.
In the last few weeks, Callejon has received offers from MLS and the Middle East, but it looks like his future will be back in LaLiga Santander.
