Chelsea have reportedly joined the race for Sporting Lisbon winger Joelson Fernandes.
The 17-year-old has attracted serious interest from Arsenal in recent weeks.
And A Bola is now reporting that the Blues and Manchester City are keen on the Portuguese whizkid.
Both clubs have contacted Fernandes' agent, Kia Joorabchian, to understand the costs of a transfer.
Fernandes has a release clause in his current contract worth €45m.
The report claims further talks will be held this week, with 'serious possibilities' one of the clubs could trigger the clause.
