Sensational teenage footballer Luqman Hakim Shamsudin made his debut in Europe with a bang by scoring for KV Kortrijk Under-21 against KRC Gent.

The 18-year-old Kota Bharu lad was seen stealing the ball from the opponents’ defender to ram it pass the goalkeeper in a video posted in KV Kortrijk’s social media sites.

However, KV Kortijk lost 1-4 in Luqman’s first match after the 14-day quarantine.

 “Luqman scored his first goal on European soil for our U21 (@kvkjeugd) in a 1-4 loss against KRC Gent. Congrats, Hakim!,” the club posted in Facebook and Twitter pages.

Luqman flew to Belgium two weeks ago after signing a five-year contract with Belgian First Division outfit, KV Kortrijk owned by Malaysian business tycoon, Tan Sri Vincent Tan.
