Manchester City are hopeful on being able to recall Sergio Aguero for their UEFA Champions League games.
The Citizens face a quarter final with Lyon at the weekend.
While Aguero may not be ready for that game, theMirror suggests City will give him every chance to get fit for the last two matches, presuming they go all the way.
The source also claims the 32-year-old Argentina star is privately fearing he will not be fit in time.
But the club feels he could be ready to take his place on the bench if City make the semi finals.
Gabriel Jesus will start up front in Aguero's absence.
