Wales boss Ryan Giggs admits he hasn't spoke with Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane about Gareth Bale.
Giggs called up Bale for Wales' squad for their Nations League games against Finland and Bulgaria in September, despite the star winger's lack of game time at Real.
"I haven't spoken to Zidane," Giggs told the press. "My French and Spanish isn't too good.
"That's my way out of that one. I know Zidane's English isn't very good from experience."
On Bale's playing time, Giggs added: "I'm just monitoring the situation.
"When Gareth gets on camp, I will speak to him like I always do."
