Former Bayern Munich star Owen Hargreaves believes Thiago Alcantara proved himself to watching Liverpool fans during Bayern Munich's Champions League triumph last night.
Thiago has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool, with Arsenal also interested in signing him.
Speaking on BT Sport, Hargreaves said: "They have got to keep Thiago, he is so important and he was fantastic.
"Liverpool fans would have been watching that saying yes please."
Liverpool are interested in Thiago but are reluctant to pay Bayern's asking price as he will be free to discuss a Bosman transfer from January next year.
