Warisan hires RM500k cybertroopers

BEAUFORT: Former political secretary to State Education and Innovation Minister, Rapahi Idris, claims Parti Warisan is paying five cyber troopers especially brought in from peninsula RM500,000 to influence voters throughout the State Election.

Rapahi who has since defected to Gabungan Rakyat Sabah claimed they were given the responsibility to spread propaganda related to Warisan to influence the people’s minds through various social media platforms so that they would vote for the party. 

“The Information Bureau (Warisan) brought the five cyber troopers from the peninsula for a fee of RM500,000 to provide videos and so on.
