Bayer Leverkusen have signed Atletico Madrid fullback Santiago Arias.
Arias has joined Bayer on a season-long loan with the option to sign permanently for €12m. The defender passed his medical on Wednesday before signing yesterday.
The Colombia international, 28, spent two years with Atletico.
But he was allowed to leave this week after a tough last season, with Kieran Trippier and Sime Vrsaljko regarded ahead of him.
The permanent option for Bayer kicks in after ten appearances.
