Real Madrid are counting on a windfall from Leeds United's imminent move for Real Sociedad defender Diego Llorente.

Marca says Leeds are set to sign Llorente for 20 million euros from Real Sociedad, a player who the Basques signed from Real Madrid in 2017 for six million euros.

In that deal, it was agreed that Los Blancos would be entitled to 30 percent of the profit of any future sale, which works out to around four million euros.

Madrid didn't have a buyback option in the deal that was struck three years ago, although they may have been tempted to take it up they had, with Llorente performing superbly for La Real.

Los Blancos' total income from transfers this summer has now reached 108.5 million euros.
