The father of Mason Mount has responded to claims the Chelsea midfielder is annoyed by the arrival of Kai Havertz.

BILD reporter Christian Falk reported that Mount was unhappy with Frank Lampard breaking the club's record transfer fee to sign another attacking midfielder.

In a response to a tweet from Falk about the story, Tony Mount replied with the word 'bull' followed by an accompanying emoji.

21-year-old Mount enjoyed a breakthrough season at Stamford Bridge, scoring seven goals and notching five assists in his 37 Premier League appearances.

And despite Havertz's signing, the England international will surely have a role to play in Chelsea's season as they look to push themselves higher up the Premier League table.
