Chelsea hero Ashley Cole says England should play Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden to his strengths.
Foden made his debut in yesterday's Nations League qualifying win over Iceland.
Cole said: "I wouldn't want to change him, he enjoys that role, whether it is coming off the right and coming in little pockets.
"His movement and intelligence is very good. Working under Pep, for me, has helped him massively in that understanding - we saw that with Sterling.
"I think he connects the game, as Pep said, so many players don't have that intelligence at such a young age.
"For me, he has that. He's comfortable around the box, he can combine and he can shoot as well.
"I think hopefully next season we'll see him play more for Man City."
