Nothing done about Ranau roads: NGO

While tourism activities in the district continues to grow with the relaxation in the Movement Control Order (MCO), the rise in the number of vehicles on the road is becoming a concern.

Deputy President of the Malaysia Kampungstay and Homestay Association, Kohadie Koch Watiman said the arrival of tourists to the district indicates that the industry in Ranau is now beginning to stabilise, and it is vital to keep the economy in the district buzzling.

However, he said, there are other aspects which need to be taken care of like upgrading of roads, not only those which lead to the various tourists destinations, but also the main roads.
