Barcelona goalkeeper Neto says the players have quickly responded to new coach Ronald Koeman.

The Brazilian played as they beat Girona 3-1 on Wednesday in their second pre-season friendly, and he believes the side are getting better with each passing day.

"We've gone from less to more in the game," Neto said afterwards.

"We had more rhythm because we've had 10 to 12 days of real training. I see things positively.

"Each coach has their philosophy and way of playing and we have to understand that and adapt."

Neto was one of just two players to play the full 90 minutes on Wednesday.

"When there are changes in any job, everyone wants to show what they can do and give their best," he added.

"It's no different with me.

"I'll keep working hard, being happy and working as I need to.

"I feel good and I think we're evolving well.

"We have to keep training at our best, that's how football is.

"You always have to be prepared."
