West Ham United boss David Moyes is eager to sign Adam Smith from Bournemouth.
The Telegraph says Moyes is a fan of the full back, and would prefer someone like Smith who can play on both the left and right when needed.
Smith could be part of the Bournemouth fire sale that has started since the club was relegated to the Championship.
The Englishman is 29 and has played 116 Premier League games, scoring five goals.
He was involved in a recent friendly between the two clubs, which Bournemouth won 5-3.
