Everton keeper Jordan Pickford is under pressure after his mistakes in the 5-2 win over Fleetwood Town in the Carabao Cup.
But boss Carlo Ancelotti says he has "total confidence" in England's number one.
The Italian said: "There is a lot of focus on him but I have to be honest and say he started really well, and had a fantastic match against Tottenham.
"When he does make a mistake I'm the first to say to him he did a mistake because he understands. I'm not really focused on him like you, he's a great keeper, he could do better in the game against Fleetwood but the defenders could have done also. We didn't build up well as a team. That's it, he has my total confidence."
