Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is delighted with what he's seen from Niels Nkounkou in preseason.
The 19 year-old left-back arrived on a free transfer this summer from Olympique Marseille.
Asked about Nkounkou, Ancelotti replied: "I am happy.
"Nkounkou is very young, but he shows good qualities. He has incredible physical qualities."
Indeed, key to Everton convincing the youngster about moving to England was a call from the manager detailing the plans he had for him.
