Independent candidates are not bound by rules or pressures of any political parties, said aspiring Kepayan Assemblyman Chew Shung Seng (pic).“For politicians of any parties, everything they do and say must take into account party interests and their leader’s name and honour... This is the reason why I decided to stand as an independent candidate,” he said. “I want to make right what is wrong in today’s chaotic political scenario”, he added.
