Newcastle United are pushing to sign Arsenal defender Calum Chambers.
The Mirror says Newcastle interested in signing AChambers before next month's transfer deadline.
Steve Bruce's side are believed to only be willing to take Chambers on loan in this transfer window.
The report also mentions that the Magpies are keen to sign a defender after missing out on fellow Arsenal man Rob Holding.
While Newcastle appear to want Chambers on loan, it is understood that Arsenal would allow him to leave on a permanent basis for around £12million.
