Hajiji to be sworn in as Chief Minister, says GRS

Kota Kinabalu: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) has unanimously named Sabah PN Chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor as its Chief Minister for the new State Government.

This was announced in a press conference (pictured) after a meeting involving the coalition's state assemblymen at the Magellan Sutera Resort and Spa, here, Monday.

Hajiji is scheduled to take oath as Chief Minister of Sabah at the Istana Negeri tomorrow morning, the media was told at the conference.

GRS, which comprises Sabah PN, Sabah BN and PBS, eventually got 41 seats after three elected independents joined their ranks while Warisan Plus won 32 seats.
