Liverpool have tabled a revised contract offer to Gini Wijnaldum.
Wijnaldum and the Reds have been in talks for months over a new deal for the midfielder. His current contract expires in June.
Liverpool had been reluctant to offer Wijnaldum an extended deal due to his age.
But the Liverpool Echo says management have changed tact and tabled a contract to 2024 for Wijnaldum's consideration.
And there's now a confidence that Wijnaldum will sign terms.
