Former Manchester United coach Warren Joyce claims Paul Pogba wants nothing more than to succeed at the club.
The Frenchman has sometimes been criticized for his attitude by fans and ex-players.
He had also wanted to leave for Real Madrid when Jose Mourinho was manager.
But Joyce believes Pogba wants to win things at Old Trafford.
"He was desperate to be a success at Manchester United. I know from the last conversations we had before he left the club that he was desperate to break through with those players," Joyce told the Manchester Evening News.
"He gets a lot of stick, he's big enough to handle that, he's capable of producing the goods on a world stage."
