Trabzonspor coach Eddie Newton was left pleased with the debuts of his two English signings yesterday.
Lewis Baker, on-loan from Chelsea, and Benik Afobe, on-loan from Stoke City, both featured in Trabzonspor's 0-0 draw at Denizlispor.
Afterwards, Newton remarked: “The performance of both was satisfactory.
"They have just joined us. 48 hours ago ... Even so, they were good, it's not an easy thing to come and play.
"In general, I can say that I am happy with the performance."
The coach continued: "We tried to find a system according to the players in hand because there were injuries."
