Dele Alli was axed from the matchday squad for Tottenham's clash with Southampton today.
The midfielder's team-mates are amazed that the England star has been left out of Jose Mourinho's plans for the second successive game.
Alli was left in London as the rest of the squad flew to Bulgaria for the clash against Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
And now more questions will be asked regarding Alli's future.
Mourinho explained before the match against Southampton why he left out Alli: "We have a huge squad with numbers that are very difficult to manage. We have too many players for some positions and some of them are paying the price for this."
