West Brom are emerging as favourites to land Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.
The Mirror says Gallagher is set to join Premier League new boys West Bromwich Albion on loan.
Gallagher, 20, has been targeted by a number of Premier League clubs this summer after an excellent season in the Championship last term.
The midfielder spent last season on loan in the second tier, firstly with Charlton Athletic before moving to Swansea City and helping them reach the play-offs. Gallagher managed six goals and eight assists in 47 appearances to attract Premier League admirers.
But it's Albion who now hold the advantage in the race and Gallagher is close to penning a season-long loan agreement at The Hawthorns.
