SANDAKAN: General Operations Force (GOF) Battalion 15 personnel seized 20 boxes of contraband cigarettes worth RM150,000 at Mile 3, here, on Thursday.Its commanding officer Supt Toipi Lamat said a team discovered an abandoned wooden boat tied to the edge of a mangrove area following public information at 10.30pm. He said no one approached the boat even after an hour of monitoring from a safe distance.
