Barcelona will make a new offer for Manchester City defender Eric Garcia this week.
Barca made an opening bid of €10m for their former youth teamer earlier this month, though City dismissed it immediately.
Catalunya Radio says this hasn't put off Barca, which will return with an improved proposal in the coming days.
For their part, despite Garcia having less than a year to run on his contract, City want €40m to sell the defender this summer.
Garcia, meanwhile, has made it clear he wishes to return to Barca and is refusing to consider new contract talks with City.
