Arsenal defender Calum Chambers is interesting Newcastle United.
The Daily Star says after missing out on a loan deal for Arsenal defender Rob Holding, Newcastle are interested in signing his Gunners team-mate Chambers.
The Magpies looked set to sign Holding but a raft of injury problems at Arsenal meant Mikel Arteta could not afford to let him go, starting the 25-year-old in the Community Shield and their opening Premier League fixture.
Chambers, however, could be allowed to leave for a fee of £12m but Newcastle would prefer a loan deal.
