Kota Kinabalu: Datuk Hajiji Noor was officially appointed as the 16th Chief Minister of Sabah in a ceremony at the State Palace Tuesday. Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan and Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam were made Deputy Chief Ministers. Bung was also appointed as Minister of Local Government and Housing while Jeffrey Agriculture and Fishery Minister and Joachim Minister of Industrial Development.

Datuk Masidi Manjun received his appointment as Works Minister while Datuk Jahid Jahim Rural Development Minister.
