Despite a short-lived 26-month governance, the Warisan-led government had always prioritised the distribution of land grants to residents who have been waiting for approval for decades.Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) Information Chief Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob said the previous government’s tradition of giving water storage tanks does not give the people the opportunity to generate their own economy. Yusof said granting land, which can be developed, is far more valuable for the future of a family’s generation compared to a blue water tank that is only useful for a short period of time.
