AS Roma have formally sold Patrik Schick to RB Leipzig.

Schick joins RBL permanently after spending last season on-loan in Leipzig.

“The club can confirm that forward Patrik Schick has today completed a permanent move to German club Bayer Leverkusen," read a Roma statement.

“The Czech Republic international joins Leverkusen for an initial fee of €26.5 million.

“As part of the agreement, Roma will retain the right to 10% of the profit from any future sale of the player.

“Schick, 24, joined the Giallorossi in the summer of 2017 – going on to score eight goals in 58 appearances in all competitions for the club.

“The forward spent the 2019-20 season on loan at RB Leipzig, where he scored 10 goals in 28 games for the Bundesliga side.

“The club would like to wish Schick the best of luck for his new adventure in Germany."
