Kota Kinabalu: GRS won the Sabah election with 38 seats and a simple majority, wrestling the state government from Warisan Plus which garnered 32 seats. Independent candidates grabbed the remaining three seats in the 73-seat legislature. A total of 749,083 or 66.61% of registered voters cast their ballots, said the EC, which was pleased because no untoward incidents occurred during the election.
