Ronald Koeman wants Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum to play a major role in his new Barcelona side.
Sky Sports claim reports in Spain which have claimed Wijnaldum has agreed personal terms with Barca are incorrect.
However, Koeman remains absolutely determined to bring the Dutch midfielder to the Camp Nou.
Wijnaldum was a major player for Koeman when he was in charge of the Netherlands national team.
And the 57-year-old is desperate to continue that partnership in Catalunya.
With just one-year remaining on his contract, Wijnaldum could find himself sold this summer rather than be allowed to leave for free a year from now.
Negotiations over an extension have yet to take place, and the Reds could look to cash in.
