Kota Kinabalu:
Caretaker Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal’s competency and sincerity in pursuing what is due for Sabah is again put to question after he threatened to sue Petronas if it fails to pay State Sales Tax (SST) on petroleum products to the State.Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS) President Datuk Seri Anifah Aman (pic) said the Warisan President’s timing in threatening to take legal action against the company was “worrying.” He said Shafie could have done so during his 26 months in office but only showed his teeth after Petronas paid RM2.96 billion in SST arrears for petroleum products to Sarawak.
