Manchester City are ready to price Eric Garcia out of a return to Barcelona this summer.
Sport says City are asking Barcelona for €40m for defender Garcia, who has told the club he won't sign a new contract.
Previous reports had said City wanted around €25m for Garcia, with the defender having a year left on his contract.
Barcelona have offered €8m plus €2m in variables, which is 'very far' from the €40m City apparently are holding out for.
For his part, Garcia has made it clear he wishes to return to Barca as soon as he can.
