Police and other security enforcement agencies are on high alert to stop any possible attempt by documented and undocumented groups from entering Sabah illegally ahead of the State Elections. “We have received information of possible mass entry from neighbouring countries, involving those returning to Sabah via illegal entry points," said State Police Commissioner Datuk Hazani Ghazali (pix). “We need to stop this from happening to ensure a smooth, peaceful and safe State Election,” he told a media conference, here, Sunday.

He said he has alerted all 96 police posts including eight military posts along land and sea borders in the east coast as well as at the Sabah - Kalimantan land border.
