Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Perikatan Nasional (PN) Chairman Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor was sworn-in as the 16th Chief Minister of Sabah before Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin in a ceremony held at the Istana Negeri Tuesday. Also sworn-in were Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) Chairman and Sabah Umno Chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin as Deputy Chief Minister I cum Infrastructure Development Minister, Star President Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan as Deputy Chief Minister II cum Agriculture and Food Industry Minister, and Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Vice President Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam as Deputy Chief Minister III cum Trade and Industry Minister. The rest were Sabah Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia Deputy Chief Datuk Masidi Manjun as Local Government and Housing Minister cum Finance Minister II and PBS Secretary General Datuk Jahid Jahim as Rural Development Minister.
