Southampton defender Wesley Hoedt is a target for Anderlecht boss Vincent Kompany.
The Mirror says Southampton have opened negotiations with Belgian side Anderlecht over a potential season-long loan for Hoedt.
Signed from Lazio in 2017 for £18m, Hoedt hasn't played for Southampton since November 2018.
Hoedt has spent the past 18 months out on loan at Celta Vigo and Royal Antwerp and isn't part of Ralph Hasenhuttl's plans.
He spent part of the end of last season in Belgium.
