Inter Milan defender Diego Godin is close to joining Cagliari.
Cagliari have reached an agreement with the veteran for €2.5m a year plus bonuses for the next three seasons.
FCInterNews reports the Nerrazzurri will also hand Godin a golden handshake of three months of his current wages to help smooth the deal.
Godin played 36 competitive games for the Beneamata last term, scoring twice in the process, helping Inter to second in Serie A, the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia and the Europa League Final, eventually finishing runners-up behind Sevilla.
