Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) President Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal’s speech during a programme in Kawang recently regarding the lack of amenities in the Papar district is reflection of the failure of the party’s Pantai Manis Assemblyman, Datuk Aidi Mokhtar. “He (Shafie) was right when he said that Papar has nothing. The hospital is still an old facility because its elected representative failed to bring development in this district as the people expected. “Aidi’s only development is Bukit Kinandukan which is supposed to develop the tourism industry in Papar which for me is a big waste because it does not directly generate the people’s economy.

“It would be good if the allocation of Bukit Kinandukan is used to strengthen the infrastructure and welfare of the people such as fishermen and other less fortunate people,” said Parti Cinta Sabah youth division (Papar) Chief Junaidi Mohidin (pic).
