Chamber urges strong Chinese role in govt

Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysia-Chinese Chamber of Commerce Sabah Branch (MCCC Sabah) hopes  the new State Government will implement more policies that will generate greater business opportunities for the business sector, and ultimately, elevate Sabah from being the poorest State in Malaysia.

Its president, Michael Chin, said the organisation also looks forward to witnessing the new Government’s development on various necessity infrastructures, including internet facilities and various industries such as tourism, fishery, farming, education and more. 

On the outcome of the just-concluded State election, Michael voiced out his regret towards the line-up that did not consist any Chinese representation.
