Blackburn Rovers are showing interest in Liverpool defender Nat Phillips.
The 23-year-old is allowed to leave this transfer window as he would not get much game time with the first team.
And Lancs Live says Blackburn manager Tony Mowbray wants a new centre-half before their season begins on September 12.
Phillips is good on the ball and has the qualities Mowbray wants in his defenders.
Liverpool would prefer a loan move, but they are also willing to let him leave permanently for the right fee.
