Maccabi Haifa midfielder Jose Rodriguez has paid tribute to Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho.
Rodriguez was handed a debut at Real Madrid by Mourinho eight years ago.
And he is excited by the chance to see his old coach again as Maccabi Haifa meet Spurs in their Europa League qualifier tomorrow night.
"8 years later we will meet again as rivals to enter the Europa League. I wish you the best after this match," Rodriguez posted to social media.
Since leaving Real, Rodrigez has proved a globetrotter, playing for Deportivo La Coruna, Galatasaray, Mainz, Malaga, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Fortuna Sittard, Fuenlabrada and now Maccabi Haifa.
