Elche are moving for Southampton striker Guido Carrillo.
Saints are desperate to offload Carrillo before the summer market shuts next week.
The centre-forward spent last season on-loan in Spain with Leganes and could now be returning with Elche keen.
Elche have asked Saints about taking Carrillo on-loan, though would welcome signing him outright if he was to secure a release from his contract.
In two seasons on-loan with Leganes, the striker scored ten goals in 60 appearances.
