Aston Villa are eyeing Bristol City striker Niclas Eliasson.
L'Equipe says Villa have held talks with the Swede about a move before next month's deadline.
Nimes are also interested in Eliasson.
The attacker scored three goals and produced 12 assists in 37 league games last season.
Former Norrkoping striker Eliasson has a contract with City to June 2021.
