Manchester United have adjusted their transfer plans due to the progression of Anthony Martial.

The Frenchman has been somewhat of an enigma during most of his time with the Red Devils.

He started well under Louis van Gaal, but struggled under Jose Mourinho.

Now Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has him firing as the central striker for the team.

And the Manchester Evening News believes United decided against bidding big for a striker due to Martial's form.

They instead extended the loan of Odion Ighalo until January, and may go for a striker next summer depending on how Mason Greenwood develops.

What is clear is that Martial is now the team's undisputed first choice option up front.
