Chelsea should secure the signing of Kai Havertz this week.
The German is set to sign for 100 million euros in the coming days.
He is the latest addition after a summer of big spending from the Blues, who had a transfer ban last summer.
On Havertz, football.london reporter Oliver Harbord explained the delays.
During a Q&A, he said: "Patience (is) needed.
"There doesn't seem to be an issue with the deal, so fans might have to be slightly patient.
"Havertz is currently with the Germany national team, so wouldn't be able to train with Chelsea yet.
"The announcement is expected this week."
