Kota Kinabalu:
Liberal Democratic Party’s (LDP) Likas candidate, Sim Fui (pic), strongly urged the caretaker State Government and Health Ministry to impose strict control on ceramahs (political talk) and campaign activities with 1,000 people or more because the large crowds could potentially affect the polling day on Sept 26. He said candidates of Barisan Nasional (BN), Umno and many other parties have repeatedly violated the Health Ministry’s Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs) in organising gatherings involving hundreds or more than 1,000 participants.
