A return to Schalke for Everton fullback Jonjoe Kenny is off.
Kenny enjoyed a successful loan spell with S04 last season and was wanted back by the Bundesliga outfit.
But S04 sports director Jochen Schneider told Sport1: “Everton told us in the talks that they are only selling the player.
"We can't do that. With that the topic is ticked off."
Kenny, who played 34 games for Schalke last season, is up for sale at Everton for €18m.
