Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has won great praise from former PSG teammate Marquinhos.
Marquinhos admits the veteran was always available for advice and guidance.
He told Le Parisien: “He gave me all the advice possible and we still communicate as much as possible. He is someone who has given me a lot in my professional and personal life.
"He was first an idol. Today he is an idol and a great friend. A big brother and I can even say a father. The last two seasons we've exchanged a lot, I was trying to help him with decisions in the locker room. A captain cannot manage everything alone, he does not see everything. Leaders must accompany him. It's a collective game, and everyone has responsibilities and duties vis-à-vis the team so that it functions well."
