Caretaker Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal elaborated on the quote featured on his billboard messages statewide in conjunction with the Sept. 26 State election, saying it is about building a nation.“It is not (about) a single race, a single religion. We know Islam is the official religion of the country but we are building a nation that touches the hearts of all Malaysians, irrespective of race, religion and where they are from. “This is what we want, this is the way forward for us,” he said at the “Date with Warisan Plus Kota Kinabalu candidates” attended by 1,000 people at the Sabah Hakka Hall on Thursday night.
